The Conceditor WP Strict Theme is my eigth free theme for the WordPress Community to use as see fit. Modify it, change it, colorize it — do what you like, but keep the copyright information in the footer intact (you may move my copyright notice down below the footer as long as it remains intact with link and all if you feel that you need to use all of the footer space for your own stuff). Other than that — enjoy!

And more…
Installation
1. Get yourself a copy of WordPress 2.6 (or later) and install it.
2. Install the theme WP Strict.
3. Create your categories and change accordingly in the index.php file.
4. Learn yourself how to use Custom Fields and timthumb (learn more here).
You´re finished.
Using Custom Fields
For the page loop images on all pages uses Custom Fields. The key for the image must be set to “Image” (without the citation characters and with a capital “I”) and the value is simply the path of your image beginning with wp-content.
Like this: Key: Image and Value: wp-content/uploads/<year>/<month>/name-of-image.jpg.
Learn more about timthumb and custom fields here.
Different browsers
The WP Pixels theme works just fine on Firefox 2 & 3, Flock, Opera, Netscape, Safari and IE Explorer 6 & 7 (I have not tested on IE 8, though). But, feel free to report bugs as well as solutions here. Creds will go into the stylesheet file.
Good luck and enjoy!

Changelog
September 18, 2008: Uploaded the WP Strict V1.0 theme to the server.
Bugs
September 19, 2008: Added this class to the iecss.css stylesheet to prevent the images in the Picture Bank category to overflow outside the boundaries of the page:
.pictures {
margin-top:30px;
margin-left: 10px;
margin-right: 10px;
text-align: left;
line-height: 135%;
width:125px;
}
September 21, 2008: Changed the hardcoded library paths in header.php (I simply forgot to do that in version 1.0). Now the lines for the accordion libraries look like this instead (please download the latest version of WP Strict or change in your file accordingly):
< script type=”text/javascript” src=”<? php bloginfo(’stylesheet_directory’); ? >/scripts/jquery-1.2.2.pack.js”></ script>
< script type=”text/javascript” src=”<? php bloginfo(’stylesheet_directory’); ? >/scripts/ddaccordion.js”> </ script>

i tried to install the loop but it doesn´t work. Can you help me please ? i don´t understand how it works. Thanks. Myav´
You need to change the category ID numbers to the ones you have created. That´s done in the index.php.
That’s really a great theme, thanks for your effort and more thanks for sharing it. I’ve made many modifications and it really meets all my needs at the moment. Photo posts are very great. The only thing is that timthumb needs GD Library and my host doens’t offer it. But I made use of Custom Fields and got it work. Thanks again for this great theme. Keep up the awesome work.
@Aydin: Thank you, I try my best. Your site look very good with the WP Strict theme applied to it.
Hello,
New to wordpress, i really like your theme but i don’t know how to edit.

Gaele… You do the editing in the index.php file.
Hello,
The theme does NOT display properly under IE6 with the third column pushed underneath columns 1 and 2. (If I could upload jpeg, I would show picture). Display is fine under IE7 and Firefox.
I cannot figure out how to correct so that display works properly for IE6.
Please help with suggestion for .css fix – I am no expert !!
Thanks,
PJ
Hello, I forgot to put the website — qual-features.com — where you can see that with an IE6 broswer the display does not work properly. I looked at the wp-strict on your site with my IE 6 browser and there is the same problem — the third column is dislocated and pushed underneath the 1st and second columns. please help
Sorry, Penelope… I never optimize for IE6. That browser is too old and not all that widely used anymore.
Hello Peter,
Can you please tell me how to fix it for IE6 ? The browser, as you say, is old, nearly 50% of the broswers on the web are IE6 !!
Hey come on !! I can understand ignoring IE5 but IE6??
Also, I do not see how to get the pictures to work. Does there have to be a category ‘picture bank’? I cannot see how to load an image and have it display under the ‘latest pictures’.
Thanks for your help,
Penelope
